Biography of Thomas Tryon
Thomas Tryon was an American theater and film actor, best known for his role in the popular TV series Texas John Slaughter, which aired from 1958 to 1961.
He was born on January 14, 1926, in Hartford, Connecticut, to a family who owned one of the prestigious local stores.
In 1943, Tryon joined the United States Navy and served in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean for three years.
After his discharge, he attended Yale University and graduated in 1949 with a bachelor's degree in arts.
During the summers, Tryon worked at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, where he met director Noel Coward, who offered him a chance to explore his acting abiliti
