Jocelyne Larocque
Jocelyn Larocque (born May 19, 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockeydefencewoman.

She plays for PWHL Toronto of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She also plays for Canada in Olympic hockey. She was the first female indigenous woman to play on Team Canada at the Olympics.[1] She is a part of the Métis Nation.[2] She has won two Olympic gold medals, and one silver medal.[3] In 2018, she won the Manitoba Female Indigenous Athlete of the Decade award.[4] Larocque has won a total of 9 world championships.[4]
Early life

Anne, Manitoba, Canada.[2] As a child, she would play hockey on boys’ teams.[2] She went to college at the University of Minnesota Duluth.[3] While there, she was made all-American twice.[2]
