Storyline

Hero is an upcoming indian action film directed by nikhil advani and co-written with umesh bist.

it is a remake of subhash ghai's directed 1983 film of the same name, which starred jackie shroff in the lead. the remake stars sooraj pancholi and athiya shetty. the film is scheduled to release on september 11, 2015. sooraj is the son of bollywood actor aditya pancholi and athiya is the daughter of actor sunil shetty.

the film also features govinda, vinod khanna, kishor kadam, sharad kelkar and anita hassanandani.
